The Easyhome Huanggang Vertical Forest City Complex is located in Huanggang, Hubei province, China. Stefano Boeri Architetti China is the brainpower behind the plant-covered design, which continues his work on sustainable architecture. The new design creates a tree-lined facade, enhancing the sensory experience and integrating greenery into the building's architecture.
The design includes a sense of movement through open and closed balconies. It comprises five towers, two of which are designated for residential use, while the rest are intended for commercial spaces and hotels. The vegetation incorporated into the design includes 404 trees, 4,620 shrubs, and 2,408 square meters of grass, flowers, and climbing plants. These plants should absorb 22 tons of carbon dioxide per year and produce 11 tons of oxygen.
