In honor of Earth Day 2017, Westfield has teamed up with I:Collect to launch an event called 'Refashion the Future.' Set to run until April 21st (the day before Earth Day), the event will help consumers clean out their closets and support an eco-friendly cause.
During the Refashion the Future event, consumers will be able to bring their second-hand clothing to any participating Westfield location. In exchange for their used apparel, consumers will receive a Program Rewards Card that will provide them with discounts at stores such as Forever21, H&M and The North Face. These donated items will then be given away to those who can rewear them, or recycled as a secondary material. A portion of the proceeds from the event will also be given to the non-profit Glam4Good, which promotes confidence via fashion and beauty.
For those looking to do some spring cleaning and celebrate Earth Day, Westfield's clothing recycling event is the perfect option.
