BMW's Dynamic Parking Prediction system aims to make it easy for you to find a parking spot in business areas. This system uses digital mapping and fleet data to predict the availability of vacant parking spots, helping you save time and stop you from pulling your hair out in frustration.
The system uses digital maps that reveal which streets offer street parking, while also using anonymous movement data from a test fleet of vehicles as they enter, leave and search for vacant parking spaces. A prediction algorithm is then used to predict parking space availability.
