Many Gen Z daters are ditching dating apps entirely in favor of tapping their social media communities for dates, and Caribou Coffee's Dream Date: A Sip at Love is a six-episode TikTok dating show that was made with this generation in mind. Hosted by comedian and reality TV star Hannah Berner, Dream Date celebrates Caribou Coffee's new iced drink menu and aims to spark connections between young singles in search of love.
"We really wanted to shake it up this summer, and after lots of conversations with our Gen Z guests, we concluded that they love four things: energy drinks, Fruit Shakers, afternoon treats… and dating shows," said Caribou Coffee Chief Brand & Marketing Officer, Erin Newkirk.
In each short-form episode, two contestants come together in a speed dating-style setting and Berner will help the Gen Z daters decide if it's a match or a pass.
