In order to creatively deal with people illegally downloading movies at work using the company Wi-Fi, Discover Movies set up a humorous marketing stunt.
Despite the popularity of P2P sharing sites, it takes time for a good quality movie to download. Using this to their advantage, Discover Movies set up the Instavideo Service. Whenever someone began an illegal download, they were surprised at their desk by a character from the movie or TV series they were trying to watch. Sith lords from Star Wars, Walter White in his yellow lab suit and Khaleesi from Game of Thrones immediately presented these people with DVDs, showing how convenient it can be to get a movie on-demand. Although the stunt is simple, it's a great way for Discover Movies to show how its service offers a practical (and legal) alternative to downloading movies from the Internet.
