Continuing its efforts to revamp its menu to meet shifting consumer preferences, Taco Bell has begun testing a new dish called the Double Steak Gordita Melt. A hybrid of existing menu items, the new dish is ideal for meat lovers looking for something that can easily be enjoyed on the go.
Taco Bell's Double Steak Gordita Melt is a new menu item currently being tested at select locations in West Virginia. The dish itself consists of a double portion of steak topped with a three-cheese blend folded into a warm, soft gordita shell. The result is a dish that closely resembles a steak quesadilla and an earlier menu item from 2009 called the Grande Quesadilla.
Available on its own or as part of a 3-Course Meal combo, the new menu item could soon make its debut nationwide.
