In a world rife with real weapons, we can thank design duo Postlerferguson for creating unharmful paper versions of deadly bombs and guns, DIY weapons that could only hurt you by giving you a nasty paper-cut.
Postlerferguson’s new paper grenade, Uzi, M4A8, and MP5 add to their current AK-47 paper model kit and the DIY Weapons not only provide crafty hands with something to do, they also provide arms-fans with a bit of education on the weapon histories, including how the Uzi was first captured and the uniqueness of the MP5’s modular design.
While I can’t say I love the idea of more weaponry on the market—DIY Weapons or otherwise—at least I finally learned what M4A8s and MP5s are.
