Back to the Future Fan Brad Fyfe Made His Own DIY Nike Mags
Gurveer Brah — August 10, 2015 — Art & Design
The infamous sneakers worn by Marty McFly in Back to the Future 2 have been one of the most coveted sneakers in history, but Brad Fyfe shows you how to make your own DIY Nike Mags.
Ever since Nike released a collection of the film-famous sneakers back in 2011 in a charity auction, the Nike Mags have become an extremely high-priced sneaker on the resale market.
Brad Fyfe has replicated the shoes in an unusual way. Opting for China-made knock-offs, Fyfe made some modifications to make these easily identified knock-offs into more passable versions of the sneaker. Among those changes, Brad fixed the light up technology to look more like the the movie, along with the shape of the sneaker.
The sneaker is still a work in progress and unfortunately, they still don't lace themselves up.
