Dior by Birkenstock Arrives with Two New Silhouettes for Summer
Dior has partnered with Birkenstock to deliver a two-piece 'Dior by Birkenstock' footwear collection that includes a ‘Tokio Mule’ and ‘Milano Sandal.’ The collection takes inspiration from Christian Dior’s green thumb.
The first of the pair is reminiscent of Birkenstock’s previous releases, featuring two upper straps that consumers can secure with contrasting black Dior-branded buckles. The ‘Tokio Mule’ opts for a fuller coverage toebox that also uses straps and buckles to ensure the shoe sits comfortably on foot. Silver buttons can also be snapped, wrapping around the ankle so the wearer can determine how tight they want the shoe.
The shoes come in multiple finishes, including black nubuck, calfskin, grey wool, and, specific to the ‘Tokio Mule,’ a ‘Greige’ nubuck calfskin. The styles offer versatility and can be paired with almost any outfit, especially during the summer when consumers search for sandals and other summer footwear.
