A Japanese artist known only by their Internet moniker Hi released a collection of stunning digital paintings. Each painting is a different take on the same subject; a lone teenage boy stands isolated against various backdrops and strange visual designs.
The paintings are moody and compelling, while being bizarre and surreal at the same time. One portrait has the boy in profile, wearing headphones while unaware or unconcerned that an octopus is sitting on his shoulder. Other pieces have a boy with Xs drawn over his eyes, or carousel horses spinning around his head.
These Digital paintings are as beautiful as any canvas and oil or water color art, and would look right at home in a gallery or art collection. The artist Hi definitely has an abundance of talent.
