Steam Whistle Brewery has been a long time supporter of the underground art scene in Toronto, Canada. Last weekend, they held a show at a hipster gallery called 'The Baitshop' to show off some of the best submissions to their Design a Deck contest.
While many of the decks incorporated the Steam Whistle logo, not all of them did. Many submissions came from Toronto's top talent, but lesser known talent was also on display.
Implications - The collaboration between Steam Whistle and 'The Baitshop' is an example of a corporation closely observing and capitalizing on their audience's psychographic information. Let this be a lesson to other small companies to dedicate time to keeping their existing consumers loyal instead of chasing after news ones.
