Working with the design that already exists within the gallery space, artist Julia Schwadron created a series of decorative pattern drawings that compliment the trellis work within the room.
Entitled 'Everything,' the series of prints features repetitive and intricate patterns in black and white that mirror the white and dark spaces in between the lattices that decorate the walls. Just like the beautifully patterned holes that allow for light and air to penetrate throughout the room, the prints add an ornately decorative element that still allows for a spacious and uncluttered feeling. Within the center of the gallery, Schwadron left a pile of drawings for visitors to take home with them, making her work accessible to the masses.
Everyone can enjoy the delicately detailed art of this decorative pattern series.
