Vegan cuisine brand Daring Foods has announced the launch of a variety of exclusive dishes that will be sold, for the first time, at popular restaurants in New York City, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and Maimi.
The new dishes being served will all utilize Daring Foods' signature vegan chicken pieces, which are intended to mimic both the taste and texture of actual chicken. The plant-based chicken is made from water, soy protein, spices, and sunflower oil and comes in Cajun, Lemon and Herb, and breaded varieties.
One New York-based restaurant that has opted to serve the brand's vegan chicken is Beauty & Essex. According to the restaurant owner, Chris Santos, the chef's at Beauty & Essex will be using Daring Foods' vegan chicken to create a new Chicken Arepa with salsa verde, pickled jalapeno, and cilantro.
