Balenciaga's Cut-Up Capsules Brings Life Back to Old Silhouettes
Luxury fashion house Balenciaga introduces its latest Cut-Up capsule launching to celebrate the reopening of its Aoyama store location. The collection is made up of reworked archival designs for a true retro feel, featuring old logos that make its way onto new clothing designs.
This juxtaposing theme fuses eras together, offering silhouettes such as long sleeve tops, short sleeve tees, hooded sweaters, and more. All of these are complete with a multi-logo blend spelling out Balenciaga at the chest. Each letter that spells out the house is unique from the past pieces, including the "@" logos, the Eiffel Tower emblems, copyright motifs, campaign hoodies, and much more. The silhouette however, retains generally the same shape with some layered looks.
