This Dyson Ad Replaces the Typical Broom with Curling Vacuums
Michael Baxter — February 24, 2014 — Tech
Curling is one of the only modern things that still prefers curling brooms over the possibility of a curling vacuum. Dyson hasn't ruled the idea out yet and has come out with a funny commercial where a female curling team uses a lightweight and powerful Dyson vacuum rather than the traditional brooms.
The actual use for the vacuum is because of friction so a curling vacuum couldn't actually exist unless it was made in a way that bypassed that issue. Still the video is funny and given the final result of the game, it's safe to say the vacuum worked, even if only for a little while.
With the Olympics fever in full swing, Dyson is looking to take advantage of the fanfare of the games. This is a great way to do just that.
