This Building Will Act As a Hub Of Gastronomy and Food Sciences

The city of San Sebastian in northern Spain is celebrated as one of the world's culinary capitals, so it's only appropriate that this gastronomically important city would be the location of a spectacular new culinary building that will act as a modern and elegant hub for the celebration and fostering of traditional as well as modern culinary science and art.
Designed by Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG), the 'Gastronomy Open Ecosystem' building will house high-tech labs working on food-related innovations ranging from robots and food waste processing technologies to alternative and eco-friendly proteins. It will also house an a large theatre for events, not to mention demo kitchens, office spaces and an accessible rooftop terrace.
Finally, it would be remiss of BIG to not make space for a memorable dining experience in a culinary building of this stature, which is precisely why the top floor will features a world-class restaurant.
