If you are looking for something simple and sleek to hold your magazines, look no further than the Cubico. The cube-shaped furniture piece holds flat objects via the slits on its sides, but can also act as a nightstand or even a mini coffee table.
The Cubico is designed by Italian architect Alessandro Di Prisco, who was inspired by the concept of "subtraction" for this particular project. The Cubico's most unique quality has got to be that each of its six sides is outfitted with different storage configurations, so depending on which ever room you have the Cubico in, you can use the geometric piece of furniture in whatever way you want. The possibilities are limitless.
The Cubico comes in three color varieties: blue, green and white.
Implications - As technological and economic instability continues to unnerve North American consumers, designers are turning to simplistic design elements to offer comfort. Consumers are more willing to purchase items if they view them as easy-to-use. Corporations looking to evoke a sense of ease from their customers may consider incorporating sleek and clean designs into their wares.
