This Crystal Lamp Features Elegantly Cascading Crystal Figures

The Angel Falls Suspension crystal lamp by designer Nigel Coates is made up of 36 handmade cascading figures that are effortlessly suspended from a large silver disk by threads that are nearly invisible—and at some angles the thin strands probably are. The round disk that is affixed to the ceiling contains nine halogen bulbs that cast a heavenly glow from above on each of the "falling angels."
Over a table, this lamp is low-hanging and dramatic, giving sparkle to any dining room or foyer. The cascading figures also create a unique shadowy pattern on the surface directly below, since light is bounced around so freely. The artful lighting fixture doesn't come cheap, with a tag that rings in at over $14,000.
