Nika Zupanc Designs the Elara Suspension Lamp for Lodes

Slovenian designer Nika Zupanc creates the new Elara suspension lamp for the Italian lighting company Lodes. It is made up of two metal rings that come together at a dynamic angle to create a light and beautiful silhouette, replicating the look of floating in orbit. The geometric design is inspired by astral movements and planets, delivering a minimal aesthetic.
Zupanc speaks about the design, stating that it is “Named after the eighth largest moon of Jupiter, it is here to bring magic with its simplicity, where the impression of a drawing of two circles and a ‘satellite’, becomes an exciting 3-dimensional lightning experience, that, due to its design, power, and smartly engineered lighting source, forms a heart and spirit of Elara.”
