If more schools and communities invested in creative library designs likes this school library near Melbourne, kids would be much more likely to want to go and actually spend their time there.
School libraries are usually not known for their architectural design or flair; however, St Monica's College renovated book haven is a place that will definitely spur productivity and creativity in the students.
With a gorgeous wooden exterior and a lush surrounding nature, this creative library design by design firm Branch Studio Architects added an airy new reading room, Spanish-inspired steps and a vast terrace in the renovation.
"A carefully chosen color and material palette was selected to reflect and complement the courtyard artwork, engaging with the Australian outback, an important icon of the St Monica's College philosophy," says architect Brad Wray.
