This unusual couture LEGO dress was inspired by a popular Star Wars character.
The dress was designed in collaboration between 'Her Universe' founder Ashley Eckstein and LEGO artist Nathan Sawaya -- who has created building block dresses in the past, with this being the first that was wearable. The dress is made up of over 10,000 LEGO pieces and makes up the face of popular Star Wars character 'Ahsoka Tano.' The designers settled on showcasing Ahsoka Tano because Eckstein is the voice of the character on the TV show 'Star Wars Rebels.'
This diligently designed couture LEGO dress sets a new precedent for creativity in design and highlights the diversity of building blocks during the creative process.
