Food is an important aspect of one's life, and counting calories has become a part of daily life for some. This video by BuzzFeed showcases various food items in the amount it would take to amount to 2000 calories.

A person would have to eat 50 strips of bacon to achieve 2000 calories. Considering that the average person probably eats less than 20 strips at one seating, that brings some sort of relief to the calorie conscious masses out there. Another interesting tidbit is how the calories in two Chipotle burritos is equivalent of 60 carrots.

There a few facts that won’t surprise you, such as how four large fries from McDonald’s is 2000 calories. Whatever your indulgence of choice, these calorie-based facts are sure to make anyone rethink their calorie intake.
