London design studio Oliver Leech Architects finishes the Cotswold House design found in the village of Stourton in the "Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty." It is created to rest comfortably in the surrounding scenery that overlooks views of the Stour Valley. The home has a palette of weathered stone and larch materials framed by a timber structure for support.
The home was commissioned by a couple who moved from London to Cotswold looking to be closer to the village community where she grew up. The studio explained to Dezeen that "On entry, only glimpses of the surrounding countryside can be seen through partially-framed views, creating a slow and intentional reveal of both the home and surrounding scenery."
