The CoolHead helmet is designed to keep cyclist cool in harsh heat. Even the most experienced cyclist feel the discomfort from the heat, which is usually worse under the cover of a thick helmet. The CoolHead helmet is hoping to change this with its new innovative design which uses clever engineering and water cooling to keep riders comfortable. The helmet proudly boasts its ability to reduce body temperature by up to 20 degrees, and claims to keep the body at optimal temperatures for hours on end.
In terms of construction, the CoolHead helmet is comprised of a high-grade extra thick PVA for lightweight comfort and durable design. The helmet is painted in all white to reduce heat absorption and also features an optical shield to reflect sunlight. In terms of saftey, the helmet features cooling comfort padding, and a slimline buckle that ensures tight but comfortable attatchment. The CoolHead has already received a number of safety certifications and is expected to release in June of 2018.
