Concrete abodes look more chic than most people would imagine, as exemplified by Andres Remy Arquitectos firm with the Casa Acassuso located in Buenos Aires.
The design is made up of large blocked concrete structures, all stacked perfectly on top of one another. While one wouldn't think that a concrete structure could blend in well with green surroundings, Andres Remy Arquitectos firm has managed to pull this off. By adding various plants throughout the outside of the house, the entire look comes together nicely.
Considering it can get extremely hot in Buenos Aires, the concrete material should actually work well with keeping the interior cool. If it does become unbearable for any reason, there is always a pool in the back yard for a quick cool-off for anyone that needs it.
