Local design studio RA! has created the Casa LL which is a blocky structural home that is complete with polystyrene panels and concrete. It is located in Tepoztlán, Mexico, and was completed by the team that led the studio: Cristóbal Ramírez de Aguilar, Pedro Ramírez de Aguilar, and Santiago Sierra.
The space is nestled under the cliffs of the town and it has a "geometric composition of the house responds to a fragmentation of prisms that join and separate to shape its internal spaces" according to the team. They explain the design, "Once crossing the access alleys between the large blocks that compress us and guide us inside, a transition occurs where there is a brutal expansion towards the generous garden and the view of the mountains."
