Jana Pijak — October 3, 2013 — Art & Design
Encouraging creative learning for its visitors, the Conarte Library by Anagrama
pushes building boundaries with its bold and sculptural design concept. The memorable space embraces the freedom of childhood and brings imagination to life with its geometry-infused public space.
Located in the heart of Monterrey, Mexico, this former steelwork plant has been converted into a vibrant and fun children’s library space. The project was commissioned by Nuevo León’s Regional Council for Culture and Art and transforms an industrial building into a cultural hub that marries modern design lines with the interior's existing stone shell.
