YUUA architect firm has created this completely functional compact dwelling that fits into the existing Tokyo cityscape like a book being shoved into a packed shelf at the library.
This slender home measures at 1.8 meters. The width measures about two and a half meters and the entire home has an 11 meter depth. The compact dwelling is an interesting home design that has managed to meet all the demands of the family that lives within it. While it might not be a glamorized mansion, the slender house utilizes its height and creates unique open-concept rooms that maintain privacy through various levels.
The front-facing wall of the house is completely glass that overlooks a quiet street and engulfs the house in natural lighting. Through the use of wall storage and minimalist decor, the the house is perfectly abnormal.
