The Codex Beauty Labs Shaant Collection is the third and newest launch from plant-based biotech skincare company Codex Beauty Labs and it was specifically designed to support oily, acne-prone skin. This microbiome-balancing skincare collection is the first-of-its-kind MyMicrobiome-certified collection for acne-prone skin and it leverages the brand's patented PreservX preservation system.
Shaant gets its name from the Hindi words for "peace" and "calm" and it ties in with "connectedness" from Ayurvedic philosophy. As Dr. Barb Paldus, Founder and CEO of Codex Beauty Labs, says "Through Ayurvedic plant databases in India, we have identified actives that address two root causes, namely sebum overproduction, and accumulation of dead skin cells in pores."
The collection is launching in two phases, starting with four cosmetic topical products, and later, an OTC Phase with three topical products.
