Vitra's Club Office is a Welcoming Post-Pandemic Workplace
Laura McQuarrie — June 10, 2021 — Art & Design
Club Office is a workspace by Swiss furniture brand Vitra that responds to the needs of the post-pandemic workplace and aims to support health, safety and socialization in responsible ways. The open-plan setup at Vitra's headquarters was created for its own research and design team and it offers a mix of public, semi-public and private spaces to suit different ways of working.
Nora Fehlbaum, CEO of Vitra, expresses that "The office must be more than just a place of work, today, an office needs to provide added value. If an office has no character and colleagues hide from one another, it's better to spare the commute and stay at home."
The welcoming workspace provides an incentive for people to return to working together in person to engage in conversation, informal meetings, collaboration and more.
