This Arthur Kupreychuk Design Looks Like it’s Under a Dark Cloud

The striking cloud architecture on this Ukranian train station design is certainly a nebulous design.
Arthur Kupreychuk, the designer of the train station, won an award in Moscow in 2011 for his crazy cloud architecture, but now in 2013, it seems like Kupreychuk is actually getting it built in the Ukranian town of Sevastopol. What’s really impressive about the cloud architecture is that the the hollow shell is lighter than air and will be filled with helium—the cloud is tethered to a blimp to ensure it stays afloat.
I don’t know about you, but while the cloud architecture is stunning and impressive, it does kind of make the train station look like a slightly depressing place to work and travel.
