Wonderous Was Developed by and Stars Former Playmate Claire Sinclair
Laura McQuarrie — May 13, 2014 — Pop Culture
Wonderous: The Adventures of Claire Sinclair by Lion Forge Comics follows the adventures of a college student turned superheroine, trying to handle a typical school workload and drama in addition to saving the world from evil. For Wonderous, Sinclair worked with head writer Joelle Sellner to develop the story, but unlike the real Claire Sinclair, this comic book version imagines a world where she’s not a former Playboy Playmate.
The comic made its debut last year at the 2013 Comic-Con in San Diego and each issue is accompanied by a video diary from Sinclair, presented in character. Since last year, Wonderous issues one to four have been periodically released, but on May 14th, issues five to eight are being released together with a bang, available through the ComicsPlus app on Apple and Android devices, as well as the Amazon Kindle Bookstore.
