You won’t find the traditional Christmas tree on display in the reception center of the office of Lost Boys International, London marketing and technology firm. This year, the entire agency came together in the Spirit of Christmas and turned an agency-wide mobile phone upgrade into an opportunity to recycle or upcycle the ‘old’ phones to construct an enormous interactive Christmas Chandelier they call Mobile Mobile. Basically each phone was assigned a tone and individually addressed by a computer to play “Carol of the Bells” when prompted by a tweet (#lbitree), or by live requests from the online qwerty keyboard
