There are people who love chocolate and people who love chocolate -- the latter were probably attendees at the 14th annual Chocolate Fashion Show 2011 held this weekend (Nov. 10 to 13) at New York City's Metropolitan Pavilion.
The Chocolate Fashion Show 2011 began with a runway show that was broadway-themed, featuring corsets, hats, bikinis and more, all made of the sweet stuff. Along with the fashion show, the event includes exhibits, book signings, cooking workshops and tastings from chocolatiers and pastry chefs -- more than 65 chocolate companies, says the Chocolate Fashion Show 2011 website. Tickets only cost $30 per person, which allows you free reign around a "giant room full of chocolate," as the Gothamist points out. There is also a Kids Zone this year, allowing for children to indulge their sweet tooths as well.
