While KFC is certainly not a Mexican joint, that hasn't stopped the chain's Japanese arm from debuting what it's calling a Chicken Slider Taco. Made with fried chicken and wrapped in a soft flour tortilla, the new dish is the ultimate fast food hybrid.
KFC Japan's new Chicken Slider Taco is a snack-sized dish that incorporates the chain's iconic fried chicken. The dish starts with a soft flour tortilla, which is then filled with spicy taco meat (ground beef), fried chicken strips, special mayo sauce, and a three cheese blend of gouda, cheddar, and mozzarella. The tacos are fairly small, which makes them a great appetizer or a quick snack on the go. For a more complete meal, the Chicken Slider Taco can be combined with a biscuit and a drink to create a combo.
