Chemin Vert by Giacomo Miceli is a fast-paced film that will take you for a ride as it moves at high speed to cover footage from all five continents during all four seasons. This short film took over several years to complete, and has seen several versions before its final release.
The first version of the project began by focusing on augmented landscapes, and has footage from road trips through Europe. The completed version used a combination of the two and relied heavily on panoramic views from Google street view. In this journey, the audience is treated to the different terrains, vegetation and scenery the world has to offer. The music in the clip is by A Ghost Train, and the film also comes in an interactive version.
