Hosted by the famous taxidermist, Charlie Tuesday Gates, in conjunction with the Diesel School of Island Life, London's RED Gallery will hold a DIY taxidermy workshop where participants can learn how to stuff their own animals. In order to attend the free event, participants will need a Diesel Island passport.
The taxidermy how-to event is part of Diesel Island and will include a number of events, parties and workshops with topics ranging from culture to politics. More specifically, Charlie Tuesday Gates' event will fuse performance, exhibition, talk and demonstration. The DIY curriculum will give those interested tips and tricks into taxidermy including where to source animals legally, how to preserve them, and perhaps most interestingly, what's in the mind of a taxidermy artist.
