Even places of prayer that are built in the 21st century tend to look like they are inspired by more traditional designs -- this chapel concept turns that tradition on its head.
Created by a graphic designer from Metro Cúbico Digital, this unusually shaped chapel is much more modern than it is traditional. Jutting off of the side of a cliff with a trapezoid-like shape, this chapel concept is focused on prayer in the modern world. The concept features an office that overlooks the beautiful nature surrounding it, while the chapel itself lets in sunlight from the ceiling that naturally lights up the chapel's stage.
Re-imagining a space that tends to veer on the traditional in a modern light shows that religious architecture is capable of becoming contemporary.
