Pharrell Williams unveils the official look at his latest Chanel collaboration project, spotlighting loud graphics and luxurious designs with the fashion house. The collection takes luxury to a street-ready perspective for the warmer seasons. The pieces boast co-branded accents including color-blocking detail, long robes, short robes, bucket hats made from terrycloth, hip packs made from suede, eyewear, loafers, mules, leather belts, and rhinestone costume jewelry.
To showcase the upcoming collection, there was a video that pays tribute to the fashion house's founder Gabrielle Coco Chanel and Karl Lagerfeld. Williams explains that "they didn’t see partitions. But they’re not afraid of these things. Just like she wasn’t afraid. There don’t need to be boundaries. As long as you can hold on to the heritage and continue to push it like Karl always does, we don’t need walls; we need bridges.” The collection arrives in South Korea on March 28th before going worldwide on April 4th.
