After undergoing a trial run in Bakersfield, California, these Cap'n Crunch cereal treats are going nationwide at Taco Bell restaurants across America. Beginning July 2nd, Taco Bell will start serving Cap'n Crunch Delights -- essentially fried balls of cereal stuffed with "sweet cereal milk frosting." The crunch-covered donut hole bites come in a berry flavor.
Although Taco Bell recently made the announcement that they will be pledging to remove artificial ingredients from their products (along with many other major food producers), they also noted co-branded products including this cereal treat will be exempt from new rules concerning artificial coloring, flavoring and high-fructose corn syrup.
So for people who don't care about preservatives, this is one menu item they can definitely buy into.
