The process is the creation of New Mexico-based artist Justin Crowe and enables the implementation of ashes into dishware of a variety of different styles.
The Chronicle Cremation Design was born out of Crowe's art project, 'Nourish,' which has utilized the remains of around 200 anonymous people that were collected from bone dealers. Orders for ceramic dishware including plates, mugs and bowls can be made with the ashes of a loved one able to be infused into the creations.
