Sara Vrugt Throws a Grand Scale Fashion Event Dressed All in Red

Not many designers could pull off a 3-km (2 miles) catwalk parade comprised of citizen models like Hague-based designer Sara Vrugt did this June. Dressed all in red, the civilians marched (or strutted) down a long red carpet to display Vrugt’s En Rode Draad (A Red Line).
The line is made up of 300 eccentric, shapely outfits that are inspired by the traditional dress of the Dutch and touches of other cultures as well. Style Bubble states that “Vrugt was trying to encourage people to enjoy public spaces and exchange ideas in fashion and culture” with this large-scale event. I think it is a marvelous idea and probably a ton of fun to watch too!
