This interesting new application is called the Cat Map and helps users conveniently track all cat residents of the world that have been registered, accompanied by photos uploaded by their owners.
Cat lovers from all around the world can register their cat's name, type, location and color on this extensive map and enjoy viewing the statistics and facts of all these different felines.
This map has been created by the Zoological Society of London in order to promote the London Zoo’s new Tiger Territory. Out of hundreds of cats, you can actually view the two tigers that have been registered on it, out of 302 Sumatran tigers known to exist in the world.
The map's success has been a surprisingly rapid one with 1,809 cats already registered.
