The Canyon Collection is a furniture line made completely out of cardboard. Although this is not an entirely original concept, the designs themselves are impressively unique. First and foremost, they do not look as though they have been constructed out of cardboard. The designs are sleek and luxurious while the texture is deceptive.
Designed by Giancarlo Zema Design Group, the Canyon Collection is so chic, it was recently used for a temporary exhibition-gallery during Milan Design Week to promote the jewelry of Boutique MIMI. Comprised of tables, seats, a bookcase and floor lamp, the Canyon Collection is full of rounded details, which is what makes the material as elusive as it is. Added to the collection are cardboard jewelry displays that mimic the curvaceous qualities of the striking furniture pieces.
