Uber Eats works together with CannSell to soon roll out cannabis deliveries that will be connected to online marijuana retailer Leafly. Together, the team will be launching delivery services that source from Minerva, Shivaa's Rose, and Hidden Leaf.
To access the new feature, users will be able to reach a dedicated 'Cannabis' section on the app and there, users are prompted to verify their age. Once they do, they are able to choose from a menu and order similar to the way food is ordered. The delivery is rolled out by CannSell and at the drop-off, it is a protocol to ask for ID verification and sobriety to be proven before it is handed to them.
