In honor of Canada's 150th birthday, the Toronto Symphony Orchestra (TSO) is launching a pan-Canadian musical celebration called 'Canada Mosaic." Designed to "pay homage to Canada's musical riches," the musical event will celebrate the diversity of the country's successful music scene.
Canada Mosaic will be a "pan-Canadian signature project" that will be held in honor of the country's 150th anniversary. The event will cover everything from time-honored classics to indie ballads by highlighting composers from the mid-to-late 20th century. Led by conductor Alain Trudel, Canada Mosaic will include works by Mercure, Ridout, Coulthard and Weinzweig.
