I have eaten a lot of food that could be considered culinary masterpieces. But I have not eaten anything that could be an artistic masterpiece. I will if I visit Caitlin Williams Freeman at SFMOMA, and taste her desserts, which are inspired by the artists showcased inside the gallery.
Sure, paintings are pretty to look at, but they would be so much easier to enjoy if you could eat them too. My personal fav of the Caitlin Williams Freeman desserts is the Jeff Koons White Hot Chocolate--delicious and scandalizing all in one.
