For a cafe in Beijing, design studio Penda used recycled steel bars for an interesting touch. Instead of simply leaving them as is, the studio also placed wooden boxes in between the various sections, and added greenery too.
This added touch helps to create a relaxed atmosphere in the cafe, and especially helps those who need to escape the smog and pollution of the city. On some days Beijing can become unbearably polluted, and having a place to go where one can appreciate greenery and a sense of fresh air is certainly helpful. Moreover the design helps the cafe look quite modern, making it a welcoming spot for a cup of coffee or a place to catch up with friends.
Penda knows exactly how to turn a regular cafe into an innovative experience.
