The common phrase, 'Cute as a button,' could easily describe the Button Collection. Nevertheless, the dark coloring of the rounded, minimalist pieces does give it a more masculine edge. With this in mind, it might be inappropriate to call it cute, but it does have a bit of that quality. In the end, the Button Collection balances between adorable and sophisticated.
Designed by John Reeves of REEVESdesign, who created the Scrap Marble Tables, the Button Collection re-appropriates the familiar clothes fastener into oversized handles for dressers, cupboards and more. Each piece is made out of solid FSC American white oak, which is given a deep sandblast and then treated with a carbonised black finish or an alternative natural oak.
