There are some designer collections that the entire fashion world awaits patiently for every season, and the Burberry Prorsum Spring 2012 is part of this elite group of fashion's best. Never one to be outdone or imitated, Burberry released stunningly sophisticated pieces this season.
Staying true to the fashion house's world-famous trench coats and outerwear, young designer Christopher Bailey presented some of the most beautiful outerwear to be seen in recent seasons. However, rather than showing them in their typical camel and sandy hues, the coats were presented in gorgeous jewel tones like green, blue, and my personal favorite, deep purple.
The Burberry Prorsum Spring 2012 collection also hints at a subtle tribal influence, which was incredibly popular in other collections this season. Prints and patterns also adorned much of the clothing, which is a rare sight at Burberry.
